Ne bir motiftir zengin kumaşların üstünde nede Adına naatler yazılır.. .O yüzden ne güldür, ne lâledir papatya..
Ebrûzen, mor menekşe yapar, mavi sümbül yapar, pembe karanfil yapar gönlünce ama ne mor, ne mavi ne de pembe atamaz renkleri papatyada..
ille beyaz; ille sarı.. ille masumiyettir papatya!
Ne ıssız yer arar açmak için zambak gibi, ne yosunlu sular nilüfer gibi..
İnadına süsler her yeşilliği, inatla direnir yağmura, rüzgara ve küçük kızların taç yapmalarına, delikanlıların fal bakmalarına…
Bir devri değil belki ama bir mevsimi simgeler papatya…
Bahar geldiğinde her genç kız, papatya taçlı bir gelin, her genç erkek biraz müneccim oluverir…

Emeğine sağlık birtanem bu hikayede benden gelsin. Koskoca bir bahçede harikulada çiçekler içinde bir papatya..Ve papatya aşık olmuş, yanmış tutuşmuş Ak sakallı bahçıvana..Bir ümit bekliyormuş. Yüzlerce çiçeğin arasından Onunla, sadece onunla saatlerce ilgilensin.. Buz gibi suyunu sadece ona döksün istiyormus.. Sadece ona değsin makası, Sadece ona gülsün dudakları.. Kıskanıyormuş bahçıvanı,Kırmızı güllerden, Sarı lalelerden, Mor menekşelerden..Zambaklardan...Papatya, sadece bahçıvan için açıyormuş, Bembeyaz yapraklarını.. Bir gün, Aşkı öyle büyümüşki.. Papatya yapraklarını taşıyamaz olmuş.. Eğilivermiş boynu..Toprağa bakıyormuş artık.. Bahçıvanın sadece sesini duyuyormuş Ayaklarını görüyormuş..Bunada şükür diyormuş.. Yetiyormuş ona, bahçıvanın varlığını hissetmek.. Zaman akıp gidiyormuş..Papatya bahçıvanın yüzünü görmeyeli çok olmuş.. Ne var sanki boynumu kaldırsa Bir kerecik daha görsem yüzünü diyormuş.. Ve işte bir gün.. Bahçıvan papatyaya doğru yaklaşmış.. İncecik bedenini ellerinin arasına almış..Elindeki sopayı, köklerinin yanına, toprağa sokmuş bir iple papatyanın gövdesini bağlayıvermiş sopaya.. Papatya o an daha çok sevmiş bahçıvanı.. Hala göremiyormuş onu, Ama bedeni kurtulmuş.. Uzun bir müddet sonra, Bahçıvan uğramaz olmus bahçeye.. Gelen giden yokmuş.. Kahrından ölecekmiş papatya..Ama işte bir sabah... Hortumdan akan suyun sesiyle uyanmış.. Derin bir oh çekmiş.. Çılgıncasına sevdiği bahçıvan geri gelmiş.. Birden, kendisine doğru gelen iki ayak görmüs.. Bu onun delicesine sevdiği bahçıvan değilmiş..Başka birisiymiş.. Adamın elinde bir de makas varmış.. Papatyanın kafasını kaldırmış yukarıya doğru..Ne güzel açmışsın sen öyle demiş.. Bu gencecik, yakışıklı bir delikanlıymış..Gözleri gök mavisi, saçları güneş sarısıymış.. Ama gövden seni taşımıyor demisş. Elindeki makası papatyanın boynuna doğru uzatmış..Ve bir hamlede başını gövdesinden ayırmış.. Papatya yere düşerken hatırlamış sevdigini.. O ak saçlı, ak sakallı, yaşlımı yaşlı bahçıvanı hatırlamış..Birde o gencecik, yakışıklı delikanlıyı düşünmüş.. Ve o an anlamış, neden o yaşlı bahçıvanı sevdiğini..O her seye rağmen, papatyaya emek vermiş.. Ona hiç bir zaman güzel oldugunu söylememiş, Ama onu aslında hep sevmis..
